Dr Abe on a retreat to compose new music

Dear Siblings in Spirit,

I was on a retreat to compose music from July 6 – July 10, 2026.  The retreat took place at St Francis Springs Prayer Center in NC. It was a both a contemplative and productive time, and I am grateful that I was able to finish the primary song on my docket.

Simultaneously there was a fascinating retreat/workshop for iconography enthusiasts.  I got to meet some delightful, talented, inspiring, spirit seeking beings.  We encouraged each other in our respective projects, and I had the opportunity to share some of my music, including my lyrics to Be Thou My Vision. There were requests for the piano vocal score, so I posted it and an mp3 of me playing it under the sheet music tab on this website.  If you are interested in my work, please check out the videos, too.

I am grateful to those of my spiritual the community who sent me prayer energy, breathing exercises, and verses for meditation.
