Love Sends Gift to the African Motherland!
Brothers and Sisters,
World House Music is excited to announce that Rev. Dr. Cheryl Pero has made a gift of $1,000 in honor of her late husband, Rev. Dr. Pete Pero, former professor at Lutheran School of Theology of Chicago. I know that our brother Dr. Pete is smiling down on us, knowing that their love continues to bless people on the other side of the world in Tanzania!
We have also received a gift of $200 from Ascension Lutheran Church in Waukesha, WI. These two gifts bring us to 74% of our goal of $32,500! This amount covers the cost and transportation of the first concert grand piano ever to go to East Africa, plus $10,000 of scholarship funds for deserving Tanzanian students. In case you missed the announcement: the piano is ALREADY on a ship somewhere on the Atlantic heading towards Dar Es Salaam!!
