Free MP3 download of “This is The Day!”

Brothers and Sisters,

On March 15, we announced that World House Music is now officially recognized as a non-profit [501(c)3] in the state of North Carolina.  In celebration of this event, through the end of April, I am offering an mp3 of my choral anthem, “This is the Day,” as a free download from the World House Music website. Just click on the “music” tab below “media,” and scroll down to “This is the Day.”

This setting of Psalms 118:24 and 24:1, was composed as a short, high energy call to worship for the Easter season.  However, it can be used any time as joyous affirmation of life.   It’s in a Black Gospel style with walking bass and an original, catchy melody, which both youth and adults enjoy.  Children love the ending because it is one of the few times that they are actually encouraged to shout in church!  😀

Since it is a setting of Old Testament texts, it is also inter-faith friendly.  Finally, the music score can also be downloaded from the website for a free will donation.  For the score click on “sheet music” tab below “media,” scroll down and find “This is the Day” both under Christian and Interfaith categories.
