The COUNTDOWN CONTINUES: 17 Keys to go, and we send the piano to Tanzania!

WHM is Grateful to Mr. and Mrs…..OPPS….I can’t tell you…it’s an anonymous gift.  Well, thank you, Mr and Mrs….. you know who you are…for sponsoring a key.  Sponsorship of a key is $200. Tax deductible donations of ANY amount are appreciated, and may be made online at the World House Music (WHM) website or checks may be sent to the WHM address, both listed below.

This will be the first concert grand piano EVER to reach Tanzania, and it will be the first such instrument anywhere in East Africa. This is part of a much larger project; the creation of the first university level Cultural Arts Centre (CAC) in the country. And check out these new pics!  The CAC trainees participated in a month long intensive instruction on dance traditions from around the country.  Thirty of them are proud to display their certificate of completion!  In addition, there are pics of some of the structures including the room which will be the home of the Hailun piano!
